September 10, 2005: Studio Weekend Extravaganza

This was the Saturday show from my favorite comedy weekend ever. Rick Jenkins, who runs the Comedy Studio, was kind enough to let me play both Friday and Saturday nights. Which was very nice.

(What’s more, he saw the set on Friday, and still let me come back the next night. He even let me play a ten-minute spot. That’s special, folks.)

There’s not a lot of new material here — weekends are made for ‘tried and true’ jokes, or the closest facsimile one can manage. But it was one hell of a lot of fun, and the crowd seemed to have fun, too. What a weekend.
