Far be it from me to "phone a post in", just because I'm on my annual holiday jaunt crisscrossing the middle of the country to visit family.
Except, come on. It's me. I am totally not above phoning one in from the cockamamie Christmas caravan. So that's what I'm doing. I'm dialing. It's ringing. Phoning in commencing.
While I'm slacking off, though, I figured I should do something marginally useful. So I'm setting this post up as a landing spot for my ongoing "Zolton on Facebook" series over at ZuG.
"I am totally not above phoning one in from the cockamamie Christmas caravan."
You three-and-a-half regular readers may have seen the links to the Zolton pieces each week. Truly 'old-school' regulars -- which is basically nobody, naturally -- may even recall my original ZuG 'spoof review' series involving Amazon, which I collected over on this post.
That adventure lasted two years, forty-eight articles and 192 reviews -- my prank review account is still in the Amazon Top 5000, amazingly, with over two thousand 'helpful' votes.
(So much for using other peoples' opinions as a criterion for buying, eh?
Unless maybe you're in the market for a pile of plastic poop.)
Moseying back to the point, I've not had a place to collect the links to the various ZuG Zolton Facebook bits. But I'm taking the night off. So now this is that place. Enjoy. You're soaking in it.
Should you feel so inclined, you may peruse the links below -- or the Zolton on Facebook link over in the sidebar -- to delve into a veritable treasure trove of Facebook pranking, trolling and general foolishness.
(I understand that will be difficult to distinguish from the rest of Facebook. But give it a shot.)
I'll update this list with new articles, at least until I find somewhere more suitable and/or permanent for the set. In the meantime, have at it. I'm on vacation. And I'm hanging up now. Sayonara.
Ed. Note: On April 1, 2013, ZuG shut its doors, after eighteen years of yuks. I've migrated my Facebook 'prank' posts over here and reproduced them, with permission, from ZuG's parent company, MediaShower. Enjoy!
